Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s favourite £5.3million private jet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, once senior royals, now live their lives in Santa Barbara California, but make trips back to the UK on occasion.

While the pair, aged 38 and 41, seemingly don’t get along with fellow Royals at the moment they do return to Britain for important occasions.

Harry and Meghan, who now have two children Lilibet and Archie, flew back to London for the Queen’s royal Jubilee in June.

The duo were recently seen beaming in a photo on instagram celebrating Thanksgiving at their Montecito home – thousands of miles from the rest of the Royals.

When they do come home to Britain the pair usually travel in a rather lavish private jet.

The MailOnline reports that Meghan and Harry usually opt for a 12-seater Cessna jet when they hop across the pond.

But, what is it really like inside the Sussex’s luxurious mode of transport?

According to the Express, the Cessna 680 Sovereign is filled with spacious bathrooms, comfy leather seats and mood lighting to set the tone.

The plane’s state-of-the-art interior also hosts desks so the pair can do any work they’ve brought on board and WiFi to keep them in touch.

As it takes more than 10 hours to fly from California to London we imagine that comes in handy.

The jet is designed with special mechanics so that flights are as smooth as possible – including high-functioning carbon brakes, fuel efficient additions and an electrical navigation system.

Meghan and Harry’s favourite jet retails for around $6.5million, reports the Express, which is about £5.3million.

Those who wish to fly in the plane will also have to pay to hire a pilot to guide the plane on its course.

The 12-seater plane is also thought to offer up delicious fine cuisine and has personal TV monitors that we bet keep the little Sussex’s entertained.

At its highest speed the Cessna Sovereign can reach 592 miles per hour – a Boeing 737 can hit around 544mph, reports epicflightacademy.

It’s thought that even the bathrooms on the jet are so large people can easily change clothes in them.

All in all, the Sussex’s plane rides sure look a lot more comfortable than being stuck in economy!
